We believe that this is due to several factors: Our careful choice of makers and our relationships with them including regular visits to their workshops in Germany; our experience in selecting exactly the right models to suit our customers requirements; and the fact that our basses are all either entirely refitted or adjusted by local instrument maker Bob Thornhill. Prior to sale, Bob usually fits them with new bridges and high-quality strings (such as Pirastro "Permanent") as well as re-fitting pegs, soundposts, and endpins.Players and teachers confirm that this attention to "set-up" is absolutely vital in order to get the best from your instrument. |

Our Rental Scheme Explained
After making the first payment, the instrument is yours to play for 3 months. At this point you may return; rent again; or buy. If you buy at this time we will deduct the first rental payment in full from the purchase price. If you rent again and decide to buy at the end of the second rental period, we will deduct one-and-one-half rental payments from the price. You may rent again as many times as you wish but the purchase price will never be less than at the end of the second rental.
Subject to conditions, extended purchase payments are available. |
