Neil Hilgrove – Melford Music Recital

Venue: Holy Trinity Church, Long Melford

The South-African born pianist Neil Hilgrove Colledge makes his debut for Melford Music with a recital in memory of the great french composer Claude Debussy. The program will include the submerged cathedral and the suite bergamasque.

Neil has lived in East Anglia for fifteen years & has played at Great St Mary’s University Church, Fitzwilliam, Downing, Magdalene, Kings College (Cambridge), Lavenham & Swaffham Churches. He is a serving member of The Ely Cathedral Business Group and has given four recitals at the cathedral.

Neil was the first pianist and youngest person invited to join the board of UNICEF in London. He performed alongside the singer Yaffa Yarkoni after the Peace Treaty was signed between Jordan and Israel and subsequently played for Four Kings, Two State Presidents and four British Prime Ministers.
